Our Simple Three Step Process

Our brand promise: Your Lawn Better. Season After Season.

We take the work out of having a beautiful yard, so you can spend your time enjoying it worry-free.

EVALUATE

We start with a professional lawn inspection to understand your turf, soil conditions, drainage challenges, and seasonal stressors. This gives us a clear picture of your lawn’s current health and what it needs next.

EDUCATE

We explain what we’re seeing in your lawn and why it matters during this stage of the season. This helps you understand the plan, the timing behind each treatment, and what kind of progress to expect next.

Seasonal Lawn Care Tips

SPRING

March - May

The Wake-Up Call & Pre-Emergent Battle

Spring is all about setting the stage for a strong growing season. This is the key time to apply pre-emergent weed control, targeting summer weeds like crabgrass before they can take root. Both Fescue and Bermuda lawns benefit from this early protection. We pair that with a nutrient-rich feeding to jumpstart Bermuda’s early growth and support healthy Fescue recovery from winter stress. Consistent care and balanced fertilization this time of year set the foundation for a thick, healthy lawn all summer long.

SUMMER

June - August

Survival Mode and Fungal Defense

Summer is prime growth time for Warm-Season Bermuda in the Triangle! Maintain a low mowing height (2-3 inches) and consistent moisture to support its aggressive growth. We provide the specific summer-blend fertilization required to maximize its thickness and color. For Cool-Season Fescue, summer is about survival: keep the mowing height high (4 inches) and prioritize early morning watering to manage moisture and prevent humidity-driven fungal diseases like Brown Patch.

WINTER

December - February

Protection and Next Season Prep

While growth slows, the Fescue root systems remain active. The primary task is cleanup: remove all fallen leaves and heavy debris immediately to prevent the grass from smothering and breeding disease. Avoid walking on the lawn when it is frozen or covered in heavy frost, as this instantly damages the blades. A final, light nitrogen feeding in late February helps stimulate early root development, setting the stage for a thick, vibrant green start to the next spring.

FALL

September - November

The Renovation Season and Root Building

Fall is the single most vital time for your lawn. We recommend the "Big Three" steps: core aeration to break up compacted clay soil, immediate overseeding to fill in patches, and the heaviest fertilizer application of the year. This aggressive feeding allows the grass to recover from summer stress and build robust roots to survive the coming winter. We also apply broadleaf herbicides to eliminate any persistent cool-season weeds.

D'Angelo did the front yard...good job (thanks). I have informed Triangle Lawn Care (TLC) NOT to send anyone to our home withOUT an adult there because we have 2 small dogs and they will bite! I've spoken to at least 2 people at TLC (I have to look in my planner to get their name/date) and was told they would not send a tech to our home until it was cleared FIRST. TLC...shame on you! This is very unprofessional!

Triangle lawn care treatments have certainly helped me begin to establish a decent lawn on the weedy bare dirt that was my “lawn” area when I moved in. Progress has definitely been made and I will be continuing to work with Triangle.

Shout out to Travion, who is knowledgeable, a great communicator and a pleasure to work with. I was also very pleased with the technician who aerated and re-seeded my lawn on Oct 3. He was, like Travion, a trustworthy professional as well as a good guy.

Thank you!

What Spring Lawn Problems Appear First in the Triangle?

Early spring lawns in the Triangle often look uneven before Bermuda grass fully wakes up. Patchy color, slow green-up, and early weed pressure are usually part of the seasonal transition caused by cool soil temperatures and winter stress. Understanding what’s normal and when action actually helps prevents unnecessary treatments and supports healthier lawn recovery as spring progresses.
